On January 30, Rep. Jason Smith expressed approval of President Trump's executive order addressing antisemitism in the United States. He stated, "I applaud President Trump’s executive order aimed at combatting antisemitism across the country." Smith also referenced an investigation by the Ways & Means Committee into harassment against Jewish students on college campuses.

The following day, January 31, Rep. Smith emphasized the urgency for Congress to enact tax relief measures. He noted that "President Trump is wasting no time in delivering on his promises to the American people, and Congress must act swiftly as well to deliver tax relief for America’s workers, families, farmers, and small businesses." He stressed that this is a demand from the American public.

Later that day, Rep. Smith mentioned his participation in a radio show discussion regarding President Trump's initial weeks in office and the legislative agenda ahead. He tweeted about joining Brian Kilmeade on air to discuss these matters: "Yesterday, I had the pleasure of joining @kilmeade on the Brian Kilmeade Radio Show to discuss President Trump’s successful first 2 weeks in office and the need for Congress to swiftly pass his economic agenda."
