Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Kentucky, has announced a collaboration with Chapter, a team of licensed independent Medicare advisors, to offer free support to local residents during the Medicare enrollment period.

As more individuals in the area become eligible for Medicare this year, Three Rivers Medical Center is working to ensure patients have access to necessary resources as they transition from their current health plans. Greg Kiser, CEO of Three Rivers Medical Center, stated, "Navigating Medicare can be challenging. There are many factors to consider when selecting a healthcare plan. We’re committed to helping you continue to receive the quality care you expect from Three Rivers Medical Center, regardless of which Medicare plan you choose."

Through this partnership, patients can receive personalized guidance at no cost. Advisors will compare plans to help patients find affordable options that cover prescriptions and doctor visits. They also assist in selecting coverage that allows continued access to care at Three Rivers Medical Center and answer questions about plan options and coverage details.

Local residents seeking assistance can contact Chapter by calling 833-202-4941 or visiting MedicareThreeRivers.com.

The Medicare Open Enrollment period runs from October 15 through December 7 each year. During this time, beneficiaries can change their coverage for the following year, with new coverage beginning January 1. The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment period is from January 1 through March 31 and allows individuals to switch Advantage plans or return to Original Medicare; however, changes to prescription drug plans are not included in this window.

Additional information about Medicare is available at the official government website https://www.medicare.gov/ or by calling 800-MEDICARE.

Current patients of Three Rivers Medical Center whose Medicare health plan is not listed as in-network are encouraged to review alternative options promptly.
