On Sunday, March 9, former Willow Springs High School standout Kaitlynn Hunt’s current college team, the UNC Pembroke Braves, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wingate Bulldogs.

The game took place at Purnell Swett High School. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Braves’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 3 p.m. at Nancy Chapman Cassell Field against Mount Olive Trojans.
