On Thursday, April 17, former Ava High School standout Thomas Emerich’s college team won in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Thursday, April 17, former Ava High School standout Thomas Emerich’s current college team, the Indiana State Sycamores, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.

The game took place at German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Purple Aces this season.

The Sycamores’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 6 p.m. at German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium against Evansville Purple Aces.
