Sunday, April 13: Gainesville High School standout Jake Leeker’s college team wins to UIS Prairie Stars

On Sunday, April 13, former Gainesville High School standout Jake Leeker’s current college team, the Missouri State Lions, won 13-12 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UIS Prairie Stars.

The game took place at UIS Baseball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Prairie Stars this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 5 p.m. at Warren Turner Field against Central Missouri Mules.
