On Wednesday, March 12, former Poplar Bluff High School standout Kannon Carr’s college team won in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Wednesday, March 12, former Poplar Bluff High School standout Kannon Carr’s current college team, the Kansas Jayhawks, won 29-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Jayhawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Hoglund Ballpark against Baylor Bears.
