Tuesday, Feb. 18: East Carter County R-Ii High School standout Eli Marvin’s college team loses to Delta State Statesmen

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former East Carter County R-Ii High School standout Eli Marvin’s current college team, the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Delta State Statesmen.

The game took place at Weevils Field at Union Bank Park. This was their first matchup against the Statesmen this season.

The Boll Weevils’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Bobby Cox Field at Ford Park against Oklahoma Baptist Bison.
