Kaitlynn Hunt, former Willow Springs High School standout, played on Sunday, Feb. 2 in NCAA Division II softball game

On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Willow Springs High School standout Kaitlynn Hunt’s current college team, the UNC Pembroke Braves, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Felician Golden Falcons.

The game took place at Purnell Swett High School. This was their second matchup against the Golden Falcons this season.

The Braves’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13 at 3:30 p.m. at Smith Road Complex against Newberry Wolves.
