Rep. Jason Smith, representing Missouri's 8th district, expressed his views on various issues through a series of tweets on March 26, 2025. A member of U.S. Congress since 2013, Rep. Smith engaged with media and constituents about U.S. national security actions, natural disasters, and public appearances.

In a post dated March 26, 2025, Rep. Smith announced his upcoming participation on a news segment, stating "TUNE IN: Shortly, I will be joining @SquawkCNBC https://t.co/J5TviXNUj3".

Rep. Smith commented on U.S. national security measures against the Houthis on March 26, 2025. He shared that "The Houthi's attacked U.S. Navy ships over 170 times and the previous President did nothing. @POTUS and his administration took decisive action to hold these terrorist cowards accountable. The President has full confidence in his national security team, and so do I."

On the same day, Rep. Smith visited Poplar Bluff to assess the tornado damages, as mentioned in his March 26, 2025 tweet: "I was able to visit Poplar Bluff to see the damages caused by the EF-3 Tornado. This tornado was the worst to hit Poplar Bluff in nearly a century, with one fatality and many homes destroyed. During my visit, I met with Poplar Bluff City Manager Robert Knodell, Butler County."
