Congressman Michael Guest (R-Miss) has announced the winner of the 2024 Congressional Art Competition. The victor, Theo Cooper, hails from Jackson, Mississippi and is a high school senior at Mississippi School of the Arts. His winning piece, "Blue Sky Barn," will be displayed in the Capitol building in Washington, D.C.
"Theo is a great artist, and I am proud that his work will be displayed at the United States Capitol," said Congressman Guest.
Guest represents Mississippi's Third Congressional District and is currently serving his third term. In addition to being the Chairman of the Committee on Ethics, he also holds membership in both the Committee on Appropriations and the Committee on Homeland Security.
