MoDOT's annual report is now available

MoDOT's Annual Report breaks down the department’s revenue streams and shows how the funds are used and what investments were made in the state’s transportation infrastructure. It also focuses on unfunded needs and highlights major construction projects throughout the state.

The report consists of four separate documents.

The Year in Review focuses on projects and initiatives that took place this year. It also shows where we are going as an organization with the passage of the fiscal year 2023-2027 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), which includes a record $10 billion investment in Missouri’s transportation infrastructure.

A breakdown of Missouri’s unfunded needs, as well as an illustrated overview of MoDOT’s core functions, are available in the Citizen’s Guide to Transportation Funding. The Citizen’s Guide serves as MoDOT’s core document and outlines where MoDOT’s revenues come from and how they are invested.

The Financial Snapshot digs into the revenue numbers in detail, right down to county-level investments. Revenue sources, such as the state’s motor fuel tax, and the resulting investments are explained, as well federal aid programs that contribute to the state’s infrastructure funding.

MoDOT’s Results Document provides all the highlights of a productive year. This year saw improvements made to many rural bridges throughout the state and the continued construction on large projects in Kansas City, St. Louis and Rocheport.
