By two and a half years, most children show you what they can do by saying “look at me,” say about 50 words, use things to pretend and jump off the ground with both feet! Encourage “free play” with your little one, allowing them to follow their instincts, try new things and use things in new ways. If your child hands you a block and tells you to feed the stuffed puppy, play along to encourage their budding imagination!
