Ozark Foothills Regional Planning Commission - CDBG Consolidated Plan Data Gathering Survey Now Available

CDBG Consolidated Plan Data Gathering Survey Now Available

The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) has announced that the 2023-2027 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Consolidated Plan data gathering survey is now available.

Starting in September and throughout the month of October, public engagement sessions have been held across the state, informing cities, counties and other potential applicants about the possibilities of funding through the CDBG program.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires the State of Missouri to publish a five-year Consolidated Plan, along with an annual Action Plan outlining the state’s intended use of HUD funds. The next plan is due in March 2023. To better shape the program for Missouri communities, DED would like to gather feedback through the survey to identify areas that should be prioritized as the Consolidated Plan is prepared.

The public engagement presentations were based on HUD’s guidelines and regulations that outline what may be funded using CDBG. This information can be found here.

The survey is now available here and will be open from October 28 through November 11, 2022. Once the survey period is complete, data will be compiled and presented at the following four upcoming public engagement meetings.
